08/01/2023 - At 10:12 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, and West Whiteland Fire Company responded to the 900 block of Baylowell Drive, West Goshen Township for a reported house fire. Volunteers quickly arrived at the scene and reported a fire in the kitchen area was out. The incident was held to three engines, returning the balance of the assignment. Also assisting WCFD were the Chester County Department of Emergency Services Fire Marshal’s Office and West Goshen Township Police Department. Engine 52-2 W/4 arrived as the First Due Engine, followed by Engine 52-1 W/4 which arrived as the Second Due Engine. Assistant 52 and Utility 52 also made the response.

08/25/2023 - At 6:25 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and the Longwood Fire Company (RIT) were dispatched to the 700 block of Springline Drive, Westtown Township for a reported garage fire.
Ladder 53 (Captain Witmer) arrived on location reporting the fire to be out. Chief 51 (Pelna) arrived assuming command holding the incident to Ladder 53 and Engine 51-2. All units cleared 7:28 PM. Engine 52-1 W/4 and Engine 52-2 W/4 made the response.

08/26/2023 - At 3:34 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Whiteland Fire Company and the West Chester Borough Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Locust Alley, West Chester Borough for a reported garage fire. Chief 51 (Pelna) arrived on location reporting a pile of trash on fire next to a garage. The assignment was held to two engines from the Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester. Crews extinguished the smoldering trash and checked for extension inside the garage. All units cleared at 3:56 PM. Engine 52-1 w/ 5, Engine 52-2 w/ 3, and Air 52 made the response. Engine 52-1 arrived first due engine and secured their own water supply placing a 400’ 1 3/4 “ line in service.
