On Monday night members of the WCFD took part in the “RIT Awareness” class that was held through The Chester County Department of Emergency Services.

During this class students were informed on topics such as why, how, and when firefighters are calling Maydays, what the roles and responsibilities of the RIT are, and the overall importance of RIT.

Members will continue their RIT training in two weeks when they complete the “RIT Operations” class at The Chester County Public Safety Training Campus.
