On Wednesday, May 06, the Malvern Fire Company (Station 4) along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 100 block of Monument Ave for a reported apartment building fire. Chief 4 arrived on location and reported smoke showing from a two story multiple occupancy dwelling and requested the working fire dispatch, bringing in additional units and Air 52. Air 52 repsonded shortly after dispatch and assisted crews with manpower. Crews brought the fire under control within an hour.
